The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, founded 1972 by the federal government, is Nigeria's flagship oil-and-gas specialist polytechnic, running ND and HND programmes in petroleum-related disciplines including Petroleum Marketing, Welding & Fabrication, and Drilling Engineering.
